Unrecognizable

At a family party tonight, 4 relatives told me they didn't recognize me. One was understandable, he was my grandpa's brother. He said, Gee I thought I knew all of Chuck and Judy's kids. Then later my cousin said Wow I almost didn't know who you were for a second. Then later my aunt walked past the table and looked at me so I smiled at her, then she walked past again a minute later, slowly, then stopped and said, My goodness, I couldn't figure out who you were! Sitting next to John I thought you could be his girlfriend but I knew you weren't. Then I finally realized it's Jessica! Someone else had trouble too, but I don't remember it. I swear I don't look THAT different. It's weird. And I'm not sure how I feel about it, because never was there a compliment involved, like Wow I didn't recognize you, you look beautiful! :) so maybe I've changed for the worse! Crap.
